Blog Abstract

As a math teacher, one of my biggest fears is that I will one day have kids who are idiots in math. It wouldn’t matter how many great math spawns I had created in my career, I feel like this would negate all of them and claim me a terrible teacher.

Also, now that my friends are starting to have babies, the reality of a new generation who could potentially be worse in math than our current generation is quite saddening.

Therefore, for those mothers/fathers who would be interested, or even for those future mothers/fathers, this is just to post some of the things I’ve learned and still am learning as a teacher and having gone through a Master’s in Math Education.

I can only really think of one person who will be enthused by this, but I hope the rest of you will be able to glean some interesting stuff while the these blogs last.
